Pierre Gasly first joined AlphaTauri in 2017, under their previous name, Toro Rosso. After a stint with sister team Red Bull Racing, Gasly returned to AlphaTauri where he remains in 2022. Gasly has had many successes with the team over the years, picking up three podiums in total – a second-place at the 2019 Brazilian GP, a third-place at the 2021 Azerbaijan GP, and in 2020 he claimed his maiden F1 victory at the Italian GP.
