This Red tyre represents the soft compound tyres that will be used on the 2022 F1 cars during races. It is one of the three choices of slick tyre, which feature the P Zero White hard, P Zero Yellow medium and P Zero Red soft tyres. 

Wind Tunnels are used in F1 to help develop the cars and the different parts, to help understand its limitations and abilities. This type of 1:2 size tyre is typically used in the wind tunnel but this one has been mounted ready for you to display. 

The new 2022 Wind Tunnel Tyre will be in an 18” size and with a new look for the Pirelli’s 150th Anniversary. This Special Edition will come with a black glossy rim and a dedicated cap of the Anniversary. 

The bag to carry them will be produced in cotton with Pirelli logo printed on side to reduce the use of plastic. 

The Pirelli wind tunnel tyre is the perfect piece of F1 memorabilia to feature a touch of F1 in your home. 

This tyre does not feature the same engraving that you would see on an actual ‘Pirelli Pole Position Award’ which commemorates the driver with their name and pole lap time.
